Biography
Mr. Magee was born in Pennsylvania and made Phoenix his home in 1991. He attended Arizona State University where he graduated with honors and then attended the Arizona State University College of Law, graduating in 2001. In law school, Mr. Magee served as the President of the Environmental Law Society and received the Nathan Burkan Memorial Award for Best Copyright Paper from ASCAP (the American Society of Composers Authors and Publishers) for his paper "Joint Authorship Doctrine for a New Millennium."
Upon graduating from law school, Mr. Magee worked for insurance defense law firms handling wrongful death and catastrophic injury cases relating to trucking accidents, construction accidents, automobile accidents, defective products, premises liability and nursing home negligence. Mr. Magee gained extensive trial and litigation experience during that time. In 2005, Mr. Magee moved to the other side of the aisle and began representing people who were injured or lost loved ones through no fault of their own. Mr. Magee has helped his clients obtain over $6 million dollars in settlements since leaving the insurance industry.
For Mr. Magee, the formation of the The Magee Law Firm, PLC is the culmination of a dream to provide quality service to people who have been injured or economically harmed by the negligence or dishonesty of others. The Firm will handle personal injury and wrongful death cases of all types, in addition to business litigation, landlord -tenant, collections and credit matters.
